The Capital Pride Alliance, a nonprofit organization, brings Capital Pride; a celebration of DC’s LGBTQ+ community through entertainment, outreach programs and distinct celebrations. It will be commemorated through Pride Parade, Festival, Parties and Concerts on Washington DC from June 7th to June 9th. 

The theme of this year's festivities is “shhhOUT: Past, Present & Proud,” paying homage to the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots by giving "a 'shhhOUT' to our past and present, while committing ourselves to SHOUT OUT proudly as we move forward." 

This jubilee will be crowded, packed with a series of events that is guaranteed to make this year a memorable one.

Let's get ready to rumble in "Riot." This event commemorating the Stonewall Riots and the activism that followed is put on by the Capital Pride Alliance and will be quite the spectacle. This party will showcase lots of DJs and dancing, photo booths and so much more. To be hosted on June 7th at Echostage, one of DC's best concert venues.



What happens in the locker room, stays in the locker room. Now it’s time to hit the showers for "DC Pride Locker Room Talk." Undress to your undies on June 7th at the L8 Lounge.



To progress in life, sometimes we must be defiant and stand up for what we know is right. And that includes dancing even if all the others refuse to. Dance til you drop in "Defiance" on June 8th at the City Winery DC.



Even if it's past midnight, we won't be running home soon and leave our glass slipper on the dance floor. We're still dancing til the morning light in "Pride Afterhours." Jiving at the wee hours of June 8th at the Tropicalia Lounge.



The main event is here. Raise your rainbow flags with pride as we shhhOUT it out loud on the streets of DC. "Capital Pride Parade and Block Party" commences on June 8th, marching through Dupont Circle and into Logan Circle in honor of the LGBTQ+ community.



Did we say we're still dancing? Yes, that's right. We're not stopping til your undies are already on the dance floor. Party like there's no tomorrow in "Action! Afterhours Saturday Night Pride" on June 9th at Flash.



It's the last time you get to dive to someone hot and wet in Capital Pride."Splashy Pool Party" will quench your hot desires. Dance in your most revealing Speedos (if you want to) on June 16th at Capitol Skyline Hotel.
